Zedmed’s powerful Front Office and Letter Writing functionality now seamlessly integrates with the Contrast Imaging Workstation Suite which includes everything you need to effectively search, view, manipulate and report your imaging studies.

Tight integration between the products allows the patient, referrer and procedure information to be passed seamlessly from Zedmed’s Appointments through to your imaging equipment via the Contrast Modality Worklist, saving valuable sonographer/radiographer and ultimately patient time. Following the permanent archival of the study from your modality equipment into the Contrast PACS, the radiologist is able to report this study quickly and effectively through the Contrast Diagnostic Viewer. This radiologist’s report dictation is available immediately for transcription in Zedmed’s Batch Letter Writer. The Zedmed letter writer directly opens the Contrast Transcription Module, saving the transcriptionist time and significantly reducing the risk of error.

Modality Worklist
No more re-keying of patient, referrer and procedure information into both Zedmed and your modality equipment. At the time of patient attendance, Zedmed sends all this information through to the Contrast Modality Worklist server. Your equipment then has this information as soon as the patient arrives reducing transcription risks and saving valuable radiographer and patient time.

Dictation Integration
Following on from the Contrast PACS workflows, the radiologists dictation is available immediately for the transcriptionist in the Zedmed Batch Letter Writer. An indicator next to the patient name alerts the transcriptionist as soon as it is available for typing, shortening the time from audio report dictation to report transcription. In addition, the Zedmed Letter Writer has the ability to directly open the Contrast Transcription Module, saving your transcriptionist time and significantly reducing the risk of error.
